To begin with, there is a girl called Lily Allen who has got tremendous voices and a exceptionally big mouth. She appeared on stage to sing songs all over the world and kept touring to promote/enjoy herself since 2005.There is another girl called Amy Winehouse who also has got fabulous vocals and a funkily sexy body. She cancelled lots of gigs in the UK and kept going a weird way as a victim of paparazzi. Now we have a girl called Kate Nash who has not got any gifted talent as a singer or fashion model-like figure as a girl. Nonetheless, she is absolutely a charming and lovely singer-songwriter among their generation and why???

She did not even know how to play guitar or write a song until her mother gave one to her. Kate was just a normal girl who studies performing-arts with full of hope, but she herself did not know if she ever wanted to be an actress or if not what else she really wanted to be like any other teenage girls. These back ground of her early life ( she is still 21-year-old) makes the world of her lyrics accessible and ordinary people like me and you feel empathy with her. Kate's muffled voice does not seem to match her colourfully poppy sounds at first, but those unique balance of her style including her thoughtful and observational lyrics and atmospheric low voices stand out in the end and represent this Alice In Wonderland of 21st century.

Although she was not born with the gifted talent, she seems to have gained an artistic sensitivity on the way to glowing up as a musician and the way she sings songs such as 'Mouthwash' and 'Foundations' really attract us not because she is simply cute, but she has tunes to touch our heart. Her performance does not make us think like 'Wow! I could rarely speak' or 'She blew me away'. Kate Nash is more like home-made sweets with full of good and healthy ingredients, but not as gorgeous as those you can see in a cake shop. Still, this charming girl's ones make our daily life much happier after all.
