Needless to say, there are so many different types of rock listeners. Some like hair-metal. Others love alternative or indie rock. It is natural we have a different taste of music, but should we be open to listen to any kind of music?
Does it really mean I understand music more than anyone else if my i Pod contains a variety of songs from Devendra Banhart to Girls Aloud? I know this is a silly question and I am not saying people should be open-minded to music genre. I would say I do love indie rock music very much but am not a fan of goth rock. It is like films. Some never watch romantic ones because they are just not their thing. It is only a taste. Having said that it is good to see the band/musician you are not very much into sometimes because it may be different the way someone describes. It is very important to believe in what you see and hear not in someone else`s.

Marilyn Manson is famous and one of recognised rock musicians around the world. This Black Sabbath and KISS influenced goth metal with the ghastly appearance and Manson's controversial public image is still drawing peoples attention today. Tonight, at Wembly Arena, more than 5000 goth rock lovers are completely intoxicated with this charismatic man. On stage, spooky and dark baselines are squirming and the guitar makes hysterical noises. Manson himself sits down on the gigantic chair, pulls out automatic doll's neck and stand in the speech board like Hitler in Nazi-era.

All those unrealistic attractions he does here is quite standard from rock concerts point of view. As for his words on stage, there was no controversy and he kept the audience excited only by calling Londoooooooooooooooooon in the air, which I found rather conventional for him than I imagined.
As a rock band, Marilyn Manson are stereo typical and their sound is very artificial. In general, you would not choose to play this type of music when you are having a home party with your loved ones. (except dodgy parties) However, I simply had fun to see Marilyn Manson and in entertainment's terms, they did show us how to rock.
